Job Description Job Description Audit Supervisor- Architecture, Engineering & Construction RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring they are executed in accordance with auditing standards and industry-specific guidelines. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and providing proactive recommendations for process improvements and financial management. Supervise and mentor audit staff, including audit seniors, providing guidance, training, and support in their professional development. Identify and assess audit risks, develop audit plans, and tailor audit procedures to address the specific risks associated with AEC clients Perform and review complex audit procedures, including testing of accounts, documentation, and internal controls. Analyze financial statements and other key financial data, identifying discrepancies and offering recommendations for improvement. Identify opportunities to improve audit methodologies, tools, and procedures within the AEC context. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is highly preferred. 3 years of audit experience, with a focus on AEC clients. Profound knowledge of tax regulations, financial services, and relevant tax software. Proven leadership and management skills with a track record of effectively supervising and developing a team. ?Spartan Placements is an equal opportunity employer.
