more details. Job Description MUFG is an expert in project finance,
supporting clients in acquiring, building, or recapitalizing assets
in the power, energy, natural resources, transportation, social
infrastructure, and digital infrastructure sectors. We have one of
the most active project finance businesses in the world and have
consistently been ranked the 1 overall project finance bank in the
Americas since 2009. The project finance team comprises
approximately 70 individuals who actively originate, structure, and
execute debt project financing transactions. Project finance
transactions include bank loan arranging, senior notes placement or
bookrunning, institutional loan bookrunning, and project finance
advisory services. Transactions often also involve interest rate
and currency derivatives. The team works closely with dedicated
partners in MUFG’s debt capital markets and global markets teams to
seamlessly deliver debt financing and risk management solutions for
clients across markets. This position will be responsible for
originating and structuring financing for specific large-scale
projects for corporate and government clients or long-term
alternative energy related projects. Financing structures will vary
depending on client requirements Seasoned manager with extensive
product knowledge and expertise. Role is balanced between
day-to-day high level operational execution and development of the
strategic direction of the relevant Infrastructure area. Conduct
marketing activities for project finance, identifying and sourcing
lending and non-lending (cross selling) opportunities that conform
to MUFG’s business opportunities. Conduct credit analyses and due
diligence on new business opportunities Guide the deals through
closing and ensure a smooth transition to the portfolio group.
Refer business to MUFG US Perform related duties and participate in
special projects as required by MD. Qualifications: 10 yrs project
finance experience in leading the origination and structuring of
deals placed in the commercial bank market, institutional loan
market and 144A/USPP market Experience should include the natural
resource (midstream, LNG, petrochemical, refining) and new energies
(alternative fuels, carbon capture) sectors Leading project finance
advisory A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Business
Administration, Economics, or a related field. Familiarity with the
“big picture”, anticipating workflow rather than acting reactively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Capacity to
consistently communicate professionally, tactfully, and effectively
with clients, third-party advisors, and colleagues. Demonstrated
ability to work under pressure in a high-intensity environment and
effectively manage/prioritize and deliver on multiple streams of
workflow while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail and
accuracy in all respects. Structuring and negotiating skills;
well-versed in credit documentation. Advanced financial modeling
and cash flow analysis experience. Understanding of key products
(Loans, Bonds, Interest Rates Swap, and Foreign Exchange). The
typical base pay range for this role is between $275K - $325k
depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and
location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary
performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
