active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time, temporary
physical therapy position is available for the upcoming school
year, starting in September. This role focuses on providing
specialized physical therapy services within a K-12 educational
setting located in Newark, NJ. The contract position offers an
excellent opportunity to support student wellness and mobility
throughout the academic year. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
individualized physical therapy assessments and interventions for
students from kindergarten through 12th grade - Collaborate with
educators, school staff, and healthcare professionals to develop
and implement effective treatment plans - Monitor student progress
and adjust therapy approaches to meet evolving needs - Maintain
accurate and timely documentation of services and patient outcomes
- Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding
physical therapy needs and strategies Qualifications and
Experience: - Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) credential in the
state of New Jersey - Experience working in school-based physical
therapy settings preferred - Ability to work effectively with
children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds - Strong
communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care with
interdisciplinary teams - Knowledge of healthcare standards as they
apply to educational environments Location: - Newark, New Jersey
(K-12 school setting) This temporary role offers an engaging way to
