active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time physical therapy
opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Salem, OR,
for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a
chance to contribute to the educational and developmental progress
of students by providing specialized PT services onsite.
Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to students
with diverse needs across K-12 grade levels. Collaborate with
educators and related service providers to support student goals.
Provide coverage during staff leave absences, including summer
school and jump-start kindergarten programs. Participate in staff
training sessions starting in September, with a potential for
ongoing full-time work based on training needs. Maintain accurate
documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare
regulations. Engage with families and school personnel to promote
student progress and well-being. Qualifications: Active Special
Education (SPED) certification or license in Oregon. Previous
experience working in school-based physical therapy settings is
preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to
manage a caseload and adapt to varied student needs. Contact
