Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time paraprofessional opportunity is available to support K-12 students within an elementary setting in West Chester, PA. This contract position runs through June 12, 2026, with an immediate start date. There are two openings focused on providing specialized student services under the districts structured program. Position Details: ESA Elementary, 2:1 student service ratio Support includes push-in and pull-out services for general education No significant behavior needs expected Second Position Details: ESA Elementary, 1:1 student service Onsite support for individual student needs Essential Qualifications and Experience: Comfort working with special education (SPED) students, including those with behavioral challenges Ability to manage a K-12 caseload, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Completion of PA state clearances is required High school diploma and current CPR certification (resources available to obtain CPR) Prior school-based experience in an urban setting Willingness to assist with toileting and diapering needs Strong references from previous positions within educational settings Transparency regarding any current district affiliation Additional Details: All candidates will participate in a Zoom interview Only a limited number of candidates per opening will be reviewed as per district request Onboarded candidates who meet qualifications and demonstrate a strong fit are prioritized Location: Chester, PA Positions: 2 openings Contract Duration: Until June 12, 2026 Start: Immediate This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in students' academic and personal growth within a structured K-12 environment.
