  About the Role:
  As a Media Streaming Engineer, you will be part of the Media Delivery Live team, responsible for the entire audio and video encoding supply chain, from content acquisition to delivery. This team provides round-the-clock support to ensure proper functionality across all platforms and front-end scenarios, supporting live and on-demand streaming products.
  Responsibilities:
  
  • 
    
  • Monitor live event and linear channel workflows
    
  • Troubleshoot encoding and segmentation issues
    
  • Develop and implement engineering projects to support workflows
    
  • Maintain and support live encoders and packagers
    
  • Train internal team members
    
  • Document workflows and procedures
    
  • Guide external teams on encoder/packaging workflows
    
  • Optimize live encoder monitoring and alerts
    
    Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
    
    • 
      
    • 5+ years of relevant experience
      
    • B.S. in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
      
    • Strong troubleshooting skills in live video streaming ecosystems
      
    • Experience with command-line video tools (e.g., FFMPEG, MP4Box)
      
    • Knowledge of live video transmission, OTT workflows, network protocols, and codecs
      
    • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
      
    • Experience with Linux systems and troubleshooting tools
      
      Compensation:
      The salary range for Glendale, CA, and New York, NY is $114,900 - $154,100 annually, with potential bonuses and benefits.
