Job Description UPMC is currently hiring for a Full-time
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient Nephrology office in
Williamsport, PA. This is a salaried Professional Staff Nurse, OP
position with regularly scheduled hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 am -
4:30 pm, with no weekends or major holidays (7 paid holidays/yr).

commitment. Purpose: The Professional Staff Nurse, a Registered
Nurse, is a vital member of the care delivery team. Their
responsibilities include setting care standards, managing patient
activities, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining
relationships with providers and patients. Responsibilities: -

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: - Act 34 with renewal -
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) -
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic
and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire -
Registered Nurse (RN) OR *Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) - Current
Pennsylvania nursing license, or a multistate license issued by an
NLC?participating state. Employees working on an out?of?state NLC
license who later establish residency in Pennsylvania must apply
for a PA Nursing license within 60 days of their residency change.
- *UPMC requires that GNs take the licensure examination within 6
months of their start date or 1 year of graduation, whichever comes
