MRI TECHNOLOGIST- PRN at Cooper University Health Care summary:
The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures by preparing patients,
operating MRI equipment, and managing imaging data according to
radiologist protocols. The role requires screening patients for
safety, applying MRI-compatible monitoring devices, and documenting
patient information using EMR and PACS systems. Candidates must
have an ARRT license, with MRI certification and BLS/CPR preferred,
and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills in a

development. LI-CU1 Short Description • Interviews and screen
patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety
concerns/contraindication. • Performs MRI procedures following the
protocols established by the Radiologists. • Begins studies,
transfers images, documents patient history, and completes studies
in EPIC / EMR and PACS system Experience Required • Canon MRI
experience preferred but not necessary. • Able to correctly apply
MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients when
necessary. • Excellent organizational skills and communication
skills are needed to effectively orchestrate the daily workflow of
patients. • Highly developed customer service skills are required.
Education Requirements • A high school diploma or GED equivalency
is required • Graduate of AMA Approved RT Program
License/Certification Requirements • Current ARRT License (American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists); • Magnetic Resonance Imaging
certification preferred • BLS/CPR preferred, required after 6
