Job Description Job Description Multidimensional Family Therapist - Job 86 Waterbury, CT 06702 Full-Time Salary, 35 hours per week $55,000 per year Job Description: The MDFT Clinical Therapist provides in person intensive treatment services to families including but not limited to crisis intervention, parent guidance and education, advocacy and linkages to other services in neighborhood schools and communities. This individual will identify strengths and challenges of the adolescent, the family, and their transactions with extra familial systems. In addition, the Therapist will emphasize promoting behavior change in the youth’s natural environment. They will work with families and adolescents in their home environment 2-3 times per week conducting Clinical sessions with youth, parent and family. Therapist will complete all agency documentation such as assessments and weekly progress notes. 2-3 Clinical sessions per week including parent, family & individual sessions Clinicians will meet with families based on model/MDFT expectations for Clinical sessions. Initiate face-to-face contact with each family within 48 hours from the time referral is assigned by supervisor Provide comprehensive MDFT treatment to each family that is individualized and goal oriented Collaborate with the family in developing an enduring social support network in the natural environment Attend all trainings and maintain MDFT certification Submit weekly written progress report to the referral source Work with MDFT Therapist Assistant/Case Coordinator to institute community support system Complete all required MDFT documentation Perform all required training, consultation and evaluation as outlined in MDFT Qualifications & Requirements:: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related behavioral science - Required Receipt of provisional license (LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) - Required Spanish speaking - Preferred but not Required Skilled in therapeutic interventions, advocacy, and crisis intervention Ability to function independently Personal Effectiveness/Credibility Communication Proficiency Salary & Schedule: $55,000 per year Full-Time 35 hours per week Monday - Friday flexible hours between 8:00am-8:00pm CJR Benefits: At CJR, we pride ourselves on creating a compassionate, culturally responsive work environment and offering a comprehensive benefits package that encourages and supports a healthy work/life balance.
