Job Description Job Description Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) Location: New Windsor, NY (Hudson Valley | Approximately 55 minutes from Manhattan) Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience Job Overview A large, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical group is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established and growing GI practice in the Hudson Valley. This role is ideal for a GI-focused NP who values patient-centered care, clinical autonomy, and work-life balance within a collaborative environment. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with gastroenterologists to manage a diverse patient population in both outpatient and hospital settings. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for gastrointestinal conditions Diagnose and manage acute and chronic GI disorders, including GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease Provide outpatient clinic care and hospital consultations as needed Coordinate pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and lab results Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) Collaborate with gastroenterologists and interdisciplinary care teams Required Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license in New York State DEA certification Minimum 2–3 years of gastroenterology experience Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care Preferred Qualifications Experience with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disease, or GI motility disorders Hospital privileges or willingness to obtain Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred) Compensation and Benefits $140k to $180k depending on " years of GI experience and credentials " Competitive salary with performance incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance coverage 401(k) with 6% employer match Life insurance equal to one-time annual salary Paid Time Off: 4 weeks PTO 2 weeks vacation 6 federal holidays CME allowance of $1,500 plus 3 CME days Flexible scheduling and strong work-life balance AI scribe support options available Collegial, provider-focused practice environment across 35 locations Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
