Job Description:
Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is
seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the department of
Pediatrics at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The primary
purpose of the research assistant position is to support research
on the feasibility of DNA sequencing – based newborn Screening
protocol. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Recruiting newborn babies to participate in the Begin NGS project.
Obtaining research consent from the mothers of the newborns.
Reporting result of the testing. Entering data for positively
testing babies in RedCap. Performs other related duties as
assigned. Overview New Jersey’s academic health center, Rutgers

Preferred Qualifications Experience in genetic counseling/clinical
research.
