Job Description:
Lockheed Martin, a leader in the Defense & Aerospace industry,
is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to join our innovative IT
& Cybersecurity team. This role is crucial for integrating and
automating key phases of the software development lifecycle, with a
strong focus on security and defense standards. As part of our
commitment to ethical standards, inclusivity, and teamwork, you
will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and
implement secure, scalable, and robust defense solutions. Develop,
maintain, and improve our Continuous Integration/Continuous
Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and practices. Incorporate security at
multiple stages of software development. Monitor, analyze, and
address security issues identified by vulnerability scanners and
threat modeling tools. Collaborate with software developers and
cybersecurity experts to ensure compliance with national defense
security regulations and standards. Automate security processes to
ensure that vulnerabilities are quickly identified and remediated.
Lead initiatives to improve our cybersecurity framework
continuously and drive the adoption of best practice DevSecOps
techniques. Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI,
Azure DevOps). Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure,
Google Cloud). Competency in containerization and orchestration
technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with infrastructure
as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible). Proficiency in at least one
scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.). Familiarity with secure
coding practices and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
