Job Description Job Description Overview CTG is seeking to fill
a SAP Basis Administrator position for our client. Location:
Conshohocken, PA (Hybrid – onsite 2–3 days per week) Duration: 6
months Key Responsibilities: Serve as primary contact for all SAP
Basis issues. Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4HANA and SAP
ECC systems on Oracle and HANA. Perform installations, upgrades,
patches, transports, and system refreshes. Manage system
performance, capacity planning, and tuning. Conduct Root Cause
Analysis (RCA) and leverage BPiM tools. Collaborate with
infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Ensure
software consistency and standardization across SAP landscape.
Participate in IT Change Management and approve SAP-related
changes. Support SAP bolt-on applications (e.g., Vendavo, Vertex,
Redwood/CPS). Provide architectural input for projects impacting
SAP environments. Interface with SAP for product support and
technical guidance. Required Skills & Experience: 10 years of SAP
Basis administration experience in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, and SAP HANA
databases. Experience with multiple SAP implementation lifecycles
and production operations. Proficient in performance monitoring,
system tuning, and capacity planning. Knowledge of transport
management, system copies, client administration, and patching.
Experience with SAP RCA and BPiM tools is a plus. Strong
troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or
equivalent experience). SAP certifications preferred. Excellent
verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to
interact professionally with a diverse group are required. CTG does
