Avani Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 10 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel
  • MRI Certification (Mandatory)
  • 3-5 years of previous MRI Technician experience
  • Experience with Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro (Preferred)
  • Ability to operate MRI equipment and modify imaging parameters for:
    • Soft tissue
    • Arterial system
    • Brain and spine
    • Joints and extremities
    • With or without contrast media
    • Knowledge of and adherence to radiology protocols under Radiologist supervision
    • Ability to provide imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients
    • Strong understanding of MRI safety practices and procedures
    • Preferred: Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology school
    • Preferred: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • Preferred: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) registry through ARRT
