Leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address diverse challenges across multiple technologies and applications, making a significant business impact.Job Responsibilities

• Lead key technological initiatives, evaluate tooling, and design options to develop enterprise-grade platform capabilities within a data engineering team.
• Provide technical guidance and support to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug code written by others.
• Influence product design, application functionality, and operational processes through decision-making.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technical areas.
• Contribute to the engineering community by promoting firmwide frameworks, tools, and best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Encourage the adoption of leading-edge technologies among peers and project stakeholders.
• Support a team culture rooted in diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.Minimum Qualifications
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in design and architecture of large distributed data applications.
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python/PySpark, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with Databricks and data lakehouse architectures.
  • AWS Solution Architect certification.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes, including cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile technologies.
  • Ability to independently solve design and functionality challenges.
  • Experience with data governance tools like data entitlement, catalog, data quality, and lineage.
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.Preferred Qualifications
    • Exposure to OLAP/Cube Technologies.
