POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: Sid Jacobson JCC is seeking a reliable and responsible Early Morning Lifeguard to join our aquatics team. Preferrable living in Nassau County NY. Start 6 am. This role is perfect for early risers who are passionate about safety, fitness, and creating a welcoming environment for our members. Responsibilities: - Monitor pool area during early morning swim hours - Ensure the safety of all patrons by enforcing pool rules and regulations - Respond quickly and effectively to all water-related emergencies - Perform daily pool checks and maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool area - Provide excellent customer service and support to JCC members and guests
Requirements: - Valid Nassau County Lifeguard Certification - Current CPR/AED certification - Ability to remain alert and attentive for early morning shifts - Professional, punctual, and dependable - Previous lifeguarding experience preferred but not required
Must be Nassau County certified or willing to get it.


QUALIFICATIONS:
- American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer - Nassau County Lifeguard Certification (IA or IB) - Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience preferred - Water Safety Instructor Certification preferred

Compensation details: 21-21 Hourly Wage
