Jr Culinary Development Chef - Vineland, NJ Position Summary:
Provide innovative, state of the art, on-trend and flawlessly
executed Culinary solutions to support sales growth across all
categories of products around the globe Embraces a world-class
mentality with high quality standards and is able to differentiate
basic from high end with industry relevance. Easily qualifies
product examples to intended audience Act as central translation
point between idea and execution Engage foodservice Sales and
Marketing leaders to leverage trends and insights that inspire
creative, new menu innovations and ideas Leverage insights and
trends to develop consumer-focused gold standard receipts and new
product translations Help advance ADM’s reputation as a leading,
credible, trusted culinary advisor Job Responsibilities: Leads and
manages ideation and development of new concepts that fit customer
parameters or, in the absence of known parameters, highlights the
portfolio, goals and strengths of the organization Easily qualifies
product examples to intended audience Determines appropriate
products for customer demonstration with a strong emphasis on
customer capabilities, initiatives and focuses Set high standards
for product quality and can qualify relevance to customer, with a
strong Culinary influence Maintains trend awareness and continually
seizes opportunities for exposure to new ingredients, products,
cuisines and preparation methods Ensures alignment of products
demonstrated to customer expectations and business goals within
time and resource constraints Interfaces with ACM’s, customers,
Technical teams and marketing Job Requirements: Food Science or
Culinary Arts degree with Culinary development experience.
Experience in foodservice segments, i.e. foodservice national
accounts, menu development, manufacturing experience a plus.
Capable of creating and ideating gold standard Culinary prototypes
Strong formulation skills- The individual is comfortable with basic
calculations, ratio scaling, fraction proportioning, percentage
calculations, etc. Strong Food Science Skills – The individual is
comfortable with basic food science principles, including knowledge
of food chemistry and the principles of food processing Computer
Skills – The individual is comfortable with computer usage,
internet access, Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and Email ( or similar
program) usage, along with ability to create, edit, manipulate WORD
and EXCEL files as well as basic presentation development using
PowerPoint or other Employees in this position working at this
